The Riding Academy at Select Show Horses in Sheridan, Indiana, is located just 2.5 miles east of downtown on East 10th Street/IN-47 and 1.5 miles north on Six Points Road.
Sheridan is a small town in Hamilton County with a population around 3,500, one of many charming small towns that make up most of Indiana. Given its size, it may seem that there isn’t much to do in sleepy Sheridan. From work to restore George Boxley’s 1828 pioneer cabin to debut of Rearview Mirrors, a new oral history program, the Sheridan Historical Society is growing and working to preserve local history.
Society volunteers are working to enrich community life by accenting heritage, engaging residents in new activities and events, and maintaining the historic nature of this growing Indiana town.
